Selina holds a Master’s degree in Social and Intercultural Psychology from the University of Lausanne. Throughout her academic and professional career, she has worked in the fields of social equality and violence prevention, notably as a collaborator at the Equality Office of the University of Lausanne (UNIL). In this role, she contributed to the organization of events and the development of protocols and best practice guidelines addressing issues of equality, diversity, and inclusion. She also co-authored a book chapter about trauma-informed practices in higher education.

Committed to understanding power dynamics and issues of social recognition, Selina explored these topics in depth through her master’s thesis, where she developed a theoretical framework integrating social representations, social identity, and political psychology. She also facilitated psycho-political workshops for young people in vocational schools across French-speaking Switzerland.

Preventing violence and supporting victims are causes that are particularly important to her. Her background in psychology, combined with her hands-on experience working with public institutions, makes Selina a dedicated professional with a deep understanding of the psychosocial issues surrounding violence.
